Empowerment Self Defense (ESD) is a well-researched, proven methodology that reduces the incidence of interpersonal violence.  The "We Are Worth Defending" training teaches the ESD principles for our female caregivers to advocate for themselves and to build an empowered community.

This program is a personal safety and violence prevention program that teaches people of all ages and abilities the critical emotional and physical skills necessary to prevent violence, make safe choices, and live with greater confidence. ESD builds safety from the inside out.
